General
The engineers over at MXR have equipped this M300 stomp box with six high-quality reverbs. Your original signal remains intact, thanks to a dry analogue signal containing an impressive 20 volts of headroom. Enhance the rich sound of your guitar with a selection of reverbs that sound as if they originated from the very best rack effects. Choose the desired reverb using the tone control. A power adapter is included, but you are also free to use your own standard 9-volt power supply unit.
Setting up the reverb
By pressing the Tone knob, you can choose a reverb that suits your music style, taste or mood. One of the most commonly-used is the Plate, which is more or less comparable to the Mod. The latter, however, adds a heavy dose of modulation to the effects signal. Even more unique is the Epic, which is a combination of delays and modulation, and the Pad, which combines upper and lower octaves with an echo, reverb and modulation. You also have a subtle Room and an old-school Spring at your disposal. By experimenting with the Tone and Decay controls, you can adjust the selected reverb to perfection.

Really awesome and fun pedal all around. Has great sounds and textures for experimenting around (modular & PAD modes) and has great sounding classic reverbs as well. I was debating between this and the Boss reverb pedal and I absolutely don't regret my decision. To my ears, the MXR sounds more realistic and less 'tiny'.
Zeer divers, maar toch fantastisch pedaal. De epic, room en mod reverb gebruik ik heel veel voor akkoestisch. Mod en Pad zijn heel mooi als je een zwevend bedje van gitaarklanken neer moet leggen. Room is perfect om net ff je gitaar iets meer te laten klinken als je jezelf begeleid. Epic is epic als je wat sololijntjes moet doen op akkoestisch. Plate en Spring klinken ook mooi, maar iw minder bruikbaar voor mijn stijl.
Elektrisch speel ik minder, maar in combinatie met de 'DD3 van boss' en 'tubescreamer van ibanez' kan je fantastische dingen doen :)
Ideaal pedaal. Goed stevig gebouwd, zoals elk MXR pedaal. Natuurlijk geen Strymon kwaliteit, maar deze is lekker compact, goedkoper, maar klinkt nog steeds erg goed.
Ik heb de MXR M300 en de Boss RV6 in een winkel uitgetest. De MXR M300 is een stuk duurder maar klinkt veel beter dan de Boss.

Echt heel goed klinkende reverb voor een pedaal versie! ben gewoon om vaker met studio verbs te werken en ben echt onder de indruk! Ook voldoende mogelijkheden en variaties voor een pedaaltje! De verbs zijn heel warm, aanrader!
